Welcome to Firefly Strategies

Growing up in a small town in North Carolina, summer evenings were spent outside catching fireflies. It’s a core childhood memory for me. Running through the grass searching for flickering lights. Catching each firefly in a mason jar and watching one tiny light brighten the entire jar. That one singular light, when combined with others lit up the night in a collective glow. Each small flicker joining to create something luminous enough to notice and draw people together.

That's exactly what I believe great fundraising and storytelling does for a nonprofit's mission. A single story, a single action, a single vision can ignite change across our community

After 18+ years working alongside nonprofit leaders, as a development director, and now as a consultant, I've seen firsthand that organizations don't need someone to invent their story. They need someone to help that story shine bright enough for their community to find it, believe in it, and want to be part of it.

That's why I started Firefly Strategies. I partner with nonprofits across three core areas:

Every nonprofit has a light worth amplifying. My job is to help that light reach the people who are ready to gather around it.
